Stamp Something posted this sketch on Friday the 14th and here is the card I made last night for the challenge.

Just Because
This card happened Just Because. I wanted to try out the Oh so Lovely stamp set before I had to return it and once I got started... well... I had to finish it off in some way. So a little shading, a little Crystal Effects, some scrap paper, three skittles and the ticket corner punch all came together to make a pair of these cards. The inside is layered to match the outside.
Thanks for looking!
Eat Ham
Isn't this fun? I was playing around with punches this morning and came up with Mr. Turkey. This uses the Scalloped Circle punch, the 1.25 inch circle and the ticket corner punch and scrap paper.
The sign was a torn shape and colored pencils gave it the look of wood. The trees are from the Lovely as a Tree SU set. Can you tell I was having fun?

Make it special, make it fun!
When I saw this bag template this morning, I just had to make it. It finished up in almost no time, but it needed something to give it pizzaze. So I pulled out my little stack of stamped and colored pieces, selected this one and double matted it. I adhered this to the front and in seconds it goes from nice to special.
Tee's Tip of the Day: When you are stamping images for the front of your cards, stamp an extra or two. Finish them and put them away. Or, make and save extra ATC/LTCs like I did. You never know when one of these pieces can be a perfect finishing touch to a project!

Ink: Real Red, Brocade Blue, Brilliant Blue
Paper: Generic CS
Boxes and Bags and Chocolate, Oh My!
I couldn't sleep this weekend so I got out my SU stuff and played a bit. These are some of the projects that we'll be doing at my upcoming open house. It's going to be a blast!
The gold handled bag is from a template that I found on Split Coast Stampers. I erased the score lines and the circles before printing onto my card stock. This one is embellished with only Crystal Effects and some chunky clear glitter.
The tall pink "things" in the back are Magic Wrappers. Why are they magic? Well because you don't untie the bow.. you just lift up on it and the treasure pops out. These contain hot chocolate packets, but you can put chocolate bars, tea bags, cup-o-soup or whatever you like inside. Just remember to adjust the size of your project to match your goodie. This is a super simple and fast project to make. You can have a basket if these at your desk to hand out at work. Keep some in your car to give to the folks who help you on a regular basis, the teller at the bank, your postal carrier, the kid's school bus driver. You get the idea.
The cubes are open topped boxes. I found the template at 3-D Design Challenge. These are fun to make and can be finished in a vast number of ways. Morgan helped me to embellish the green one; bet you already guessed that!
Last but not least... Chocolate! I took the miniature candies and wrapped them with 1.5" strips of card stock. Some of them are stamped, some are embossed and distressed and still others are in plain card stock. Fast, easy and makes the little morsels so tasty looking!

Sharing Note Cards
I made a set of four of these little 3x3 note cards. The stamp set is called Fun and Fast Notes and let me tell you... they mean it! I spent more time putting supplies away than making my cards!
BONUS: Seconds after finishing them, Joey claimed three to send to people for the birthday presents that he'd received!! He'd never asked to do that before. OH my! Making cards and keeping them around the house can encourage manners in your kids! Who knew??

Christmas Bug
*gasp* No stamps? I know I know... but isn't this little bug cute? The bug and the phrase came from a Christmas catalog that was in the junk mail. This is really a one of a kind. Now what to do with it? Maybe I'll post it on Etsy or something.
Thanks for looking!
*edited*
Ok, I did it, I put it on Etsy! My first post there. I think I'll add some of my stamps and other cards this weekend.

Something to Crow About
Ok, so I figure you don't have to wait! This is framing out at 12 x 12. He's thinking he wants to give it to someone as a gift for Christmas. My bet is that it's his Dad he has in mind, but you never know with Joey. He can surprise you sometimes!
Anyway, I've very proud of him. Can you see how a relatively small thing like your favorite stamp can be used to make wonderful things?
White Washed Crow
It's another Joey creation! He came to me jonesing to carve a stamp. Can you imagine? heheehee! So I sketched this one for him directly onto the material and he went at it. Now, I imagined it as a positive image, with the tree and the crows stamping in black so it would be a silhoette. Joey's vision was a different than mine, but that's what it's all about. I've held onto it and wondered what to do with his creation.
When my new inks came in, it hit me. I had him ink up with two colors and stamp it on white card stock. He thought I was nuts at first but happily stamped away for me. Some torn coordinating card stock and White Washed Crow was born.
Wait till you see the framed home decor project we are doing with this stamp!

Frosty Delight ATC/LTC
This is the second version of this card. The first, had flourishes and snow blowing across the scene on the inside of the acetate globe. It didn't look good... it was too busy. So they met with a most deserved end and I remade the cards without the flourishes. Better... you can actually see the stamp!
The scene inside the globe is a hand carved stamp from a sketch I did with my pen interface on the computer. One of the snow flakes is also hand carved. The other two are from the Stampin Up Snow Burst set. Generic card stock.
Hope everyone likes it!
